Can Clerky help my client open a bank account without an EIN?

This article assumes your client incorporated their startup using Clerky.

Most banks require startups to have an EIN before they can apply for a bank account. However, if your client applies for an EIN through Clerky, they can apply for a bank account with Mercury while waiting for the IRS to issue the EIN.
